Title: Solidarity Series -‘The story of a speech of a generation’ by Tamika D.Mallory Category: Short Film Genre: Minimal/Dramatic - Piano meets sound design
My role: Created and produced music for Tamika Mallory’s ‘Speech of a generation’ film. To keep the track both dramatic and sparse, I combined the Piano with Tibetan bowls and brass instruments as evocative sound design elements.

Tamika Mallory is a nationally recognized civil rights activist and accomplished community organizer. As the youngest-ever Executive Director of the National Action Network, she has been a trailblazer in the fight for justice. Mallory also co-chaired the historic Women’s March on Washington, the largest single-day demonstration in U.S. history.

Tamika D. Mallory delivered what many call the “speech of a generation” — a powerful rallying cry for change. Inspired by her words, Armedangels collaborated with her to create fundraising T-shirts amplifying her message.

In tribute to her historic speech, a short film was produced. I was deeply honored to provide a respectful score to accompany her powerful voice and vision.
