My role: I was given a beautiful flute recording from the Arhuaco tribe. I felt that subtlety was required so I accompanied his performance with a finger-picked acoustic guitar that I recorded in the studio.

This film tells the story behind the Aseguranzas, or threads of protection, that represent an important Arhuaco ritual. The Mamos (sages) give them to connect their wearers to the “Heart of the World” and bear witness to a commitment to safeguard her.
